Title: Bakelite uses
Post by: sabarikrishnan on August 29, 2016, 01:16:11 AM
Dear friends,
We are manufacturing bakelite plate for auto transformer. I need to know whether the waste material after heating the bakelite can be used for some other products or the waste product cannot be used. I am trying to recycle the bakelite waste. Help me with this issue. Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Bakelite is a thermosetting plastic, and cannot be recycled. Powdered bakelite may be used as a filler material in combination with epoxy resin or as source of carbon for ironmaking.
