Title: Purification of N2 gas stream via 5A molecular sieves

My Nitrogen gas purification column uses 5 Angstrom molecular sieves to purify Nitrogen, but I'm confused as to how it accomplishes this.

As far as I can tell, Nitrogen with a triple bond should be less than 5A; shouldnt it also be absorbed by he sieves? From some google searches, I found what I think are some common impurities in nitrogen tanks to be Water, oxygen gas, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, ammonia, hydrogen gas, hydrocarbon gases, H2S SO2, NOx and some halohydrocarbons gases.

Am I not thinking correctly about the way molecular sieves operate? Is it not only based on size exclusion?
