Given the following data where an increasing amount of Sr was added to the same vial of unknown, determine the amount of strontium in ppm in the unknown. The equation of the best fit line is y=3.136x+27.36 for a plot of [Sf] vs. signal.
maybe this equation may help..?
Cx= b*Cs / m*Vx

y=3.136x+27.36
What is y, what is x?

Like Borek: said, if you know x and y of the equation, you can solve it. This offered equation doesn't help -- we can see b and m, but we don't know what Cx, Cs, Vx mean. We know =you're trying to find concentration from a signal, but we don't have an unknown signal. See if you can figure this out for yourself along these lines.
