Title: H2 measurement problem thermal conductivty
Post by: sanjay.u on June 07, 2006, 05:11:55 AM
We have H2 analyser (Thermal Conductivity)in a process composition 79.88%Hydrogen;4.98% C1; 4%C2; 4%C3; 3% i-C4; 2% n-C40.5% n-C5; 1%i-C5; 0.55 n Hexane.

The H2 analyser range is 50-100% H2. The cal gas used are 50%H2 bal N2 and 100% H2. After calibratrion, the analyser is reading 70% Hydrogen for the process instead of 79.88% H2.

What are the possible reasons for drift?

Hi Sanjay.u:

Did you check the Filament? The Electronic parts are OK?

Do you have a manual of your H2 Analyzer? Normally, there are some advice or thoubleshooting guide into the manual.
