Hey y'all, I am new here and I am not a chemistry major.
In my Engineering major, I am not required to take Gen Chem 2 till my senior year and it's currently been a year since I have visited Gen Chem 1. To study outside of the textbook, I was thinking about studying either an AP Chemistry book or an MCAT chemistry book. Which one do y'all recommend for me to review and study?
The biggest issue I have with Gen Chem is the nomenclature, the math comes easy to me.
Thank you in advance

For engineering major, I'd suggest an MCAT book and prep material; are you taking biomedical engineering? I'm speaking the the experience of a mechanical engineering major, or, attempted major, to be more precise.

I am actually a Physics Major but my emphasis is in Mechanical Engineering. I am only required to take two semesters of Chemistry.

Why even that? Typical curricula I've seen for physicists and engineers don't even really mention Chemistry per se - see http://www.bath.ac.uk/study/ug/prospectus/subject/physics/detail/ for instance
