Hi :)
I will have to determine iron and manganese concentration in ground water by ICP- OES. But I don't know how to preparate samples for analysis. Do I need mineralize a sample? What acid should I use? Do you know any procedures?
If you know, help me please.
Thank you :)

EPA is your friend, here's what I found: https://www.epa.gov/sites/production/files/2015-12/documents/3005a.pdf

Google EPA 200.7. Groundwater is clean enough so it maybe added directly to the instrument without digestion unless it is turbid. Acid digestion with HNO3 isn't really that complicated (do it on a fume hood, though).
