Title: AMINE DETECTION AND REMOVAL

Q1: From a solution, how could I use a wet chemical method to remove primary, secondary and tertiary amine?
Q2: Is there a way to add a chemical or compound to enable me to detect such amines with a spectrophotometer?
If anyone knows, I would appreciate the help.

You could probably salt them out by adding an acid.

Another alternative is to wash with aqueous CuSO₄.

I don't know enough about spectrophotometers to help you with that.

Not have much idea about spectrophotometer.But you can detect a primary,secondry and tertiary amine from a compound by hiesenberg test.

IR will tell you whether you have an amine or not.
