Title: Stoichiometry ratio questions

Any help on these questions would be much appreciated! There are no answers and I would love a proper step-by-step explanation. Thanks heaps

1. What mass of iron is in a 15g sample of Fe2O3.

2. What mass of iron is required to react with 25.6g of O to form Fe2O3? Assume the reaction proceeds to completion.

We want to see you begin to try to solve this problem for yourself.  Its not likely you were given this assignment with no support at all from an instructor.  They probably gave you something like a step-by-step plan to solve these sorts of problems.

Consider this:  I have a 15 coin stack of coins, every 2 nickels in the stack has 3 pennies.  How many nickels do I have?

This is the sort of thing you can use to help you understand these sorts of problems.

ok major hint
15g sample of Fe2O3. ---> moles Fe2O3-----> moles Fe ----->  g of Fe
Try it.
25.6g of O to form Fe2O3
g of O ---> moles of O ----> moles of Fe ----> g of Fe
