Please can someone help me out with this one?
An organic compound is found to contain 6parts of carbon, 1 part pf hydrogen and 8 parts of oxygen by mass.
6g of a gaseous sample of the compund would have a volume of 2.4 dm^3 at a room temperature and pressure.
What is the right molecular formula?
(A_r: H=1; C=12; O=16)
(1mole of any gas occupies 24dm^3 at room temperature and pressure)

Well, we have 15moles=200g..
but from here on I do not know anything...

Where has that come from?
