Title: Information on GFP
Post by: galitte on March 20, 2018, 05:50:58 AM
I have no science background but I'm posting up on here because I'm ridiculously curious about GFP and would like to know everything about it from how it's extracted to how it can be altered. If anyone can fill me in I'd be very appreciative!

Wiki as an article with lots of links, have you checked that?

When I wish to search the biomedical, peer-reviewed literature, I often use PubMed.  I sometimes limit my search to just review articles, or just articles for which the access is free.  https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/

The Nobel Prize website is a good start for learning about the science of GFP and the history of its disovery: https://www.nobelprize.org/nobel_prizes/chemistry/laureates/2008/popular.html
