Title: S-p mixing

Can anyone tell me if sp mixing takes place in BN- and C2?

What do you mean with mixing. In -C=C-  Both carbon atoms are sp-hybridisized.
In B=N| ^- nitrogen and boron are also sp-hybridisized.

So I was asked to write MO diagram for those two. And there was a hint saying don’t forget sp mixing. There were two diagrams, the first one was normal but in second one pi orbital was first followed by second sigma orbital. So which one should I have written
