Title: Will NaOH be Raman or IR active?
Post by: Omega Glory on May 27, 2018, 02:22:56 AM
Is there any reason why it wouldn't be, and what would its spectra look like?

Thanks.

You mean in the solid? Like every other salt,  the will be very low frequency lattice vibrations.  And there will be an OH stretch most likely.
