Title: Ritchie's N+ Scale for Carbocations
Post by: Mitch on August 31, 2004, 03:17:28 AM
Is anyone familiar with this scale of carbocations? The Y-axis is log(KNU) how can a constant change it's value? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, I think I understand. KN isn't plotted for a single reaction but for a bunch of carbocation and nucleophile reactions.

Is this something like a Hammet correlation?
