Title: finding volume and weight using density

Please *delete me*!!!  I have never taken any form of Chemistry before and am totally lost on how to work this problem... I need a formula...
  An Erlenmeyer flask weighs 241.3g when empty.  When filled w/water (d=1.00 g/cm3), the flask and its contents weigh 489.1g. a) What is the flasks volume? b) How much does the flask weigh when filled w/chloroform (d=1.48 g/cm3)??
 *I'm not asking anyone to work the prob. for me...I HAVE to figure out how to do this, but right now I don't even know where to start...I know O need to use some sort of formula, but I'm cluless!!!

First figure out how much mass of water was added, then use that mass along with the density to figure out the volume of the flask.
