Why does electronegativity of some groups of d-elements increases down a group? Does it affect acidity of their oxides? For ex. acidity of Sc group oxides decreases down a group (electronegativity of elements decreases down a group) but with Zn group oxides, their acidity also decreases down a group but electronegativity of the elements increases.
