Hello,

I need help.  How I draw the structure of 3,3-dimethyl-5-octyne?

hey see attachment. start off with 8 carbons because its oct meaning 8. octyne means its an alkyne,

5- octyne means the triple bond is on carbon 5.
3,3 dimethyl means there are 2 methyl on carbon 3
