Title: Aligning substrates for observation under a metallurgical microscope.
Post by: 0xFFFF on July 11, 2018, 09:37:25 PM
What would be the correct procedure for aligning a silicon die so it is parallel to the front lens element?

I've been looking at z tilt platforms but I'm not sure if this is the right approach?

One thing I have not tried yet is pressing the die on to a slide with an optical adhesive. I'm not sure if this will work but just for giggles I'm going to give it a shot.
