Title: Identification of an acid in a cream
Post by: alireza.shimi on September 23, 2018, 04:24:20 AM
I want to specify which of the lactic acid, citric acid or sulfuric acid is used in the sample of a cream. Is there an easy way to identify these acids?
Thanks if anyone helps me.

If you have the right equipment yes. pH you can measure first. Sulfuric you can determine by precipitation of Sulfate. The organic ones maybe seperation first , IR, NMR, etc.
