Title: Fix A Dye On Whatman Filter Paper No.1 that bleeds out into the sample solution

Hi.....I want to ask that how can i fix a dye(Like phenolphthalein) onto whatman filter paper No.1.... P.S: Whenever dip the paper that has been dipped into the reagent first and then dried and dipped back into the sample, it washes out the reagent into the sample...i don't want to contaminate the sample...please help
