Title: Another forms of rocks sample digestion

Is it always aqua regia for rocks sample digestion or there are also some other forms of  acid digestion methods available? (concerning AAS  ICP-OES analysis)  🤔

If you have rock, then  it is  mainly made from SiO2. To dissove you need HF or flouride + sulfuric acid. Agua regina can dissolve al ot of metals.
