Title: Why is the test solution acidified when testing for sulfate ions?
Post by: unschooledfool on November 26, 2018, 03:11:52 PM
I know this is probably a very basic question but I don't understand why hydrochloric acid is added when testing for sulfate ions. I would appreciate an explanation. Thanks
