Title: Concentration of the chemical i took from a container
Post by: browniee on January 13, 2019, 12:51:54 AM
I was doing an experiment and first i took 500ml of sucrose from a carboy of 76g/10L sucrose solution.

76g/10L is the same as 7.6g/L

i converted it to molar concentration and it becomes 0.0281243 mol/L

is the concentration of the 500ml of sucrose i took 0.0281243 mol/L ?

am i right or wrong here

You are in the right ballpark, but the value is about 20% off. Please show how you converted the concentration.
