Title: TEC of Pd for this catalyst

I'm not sure what the total electron count for Pd would be in this catalyst as its not clear to me how its coordinated to the benzene. Is it just a normal Pd-C coordination or to one of the C=C ?

I think this is Pd(I). That is a formal Pd-C bond.
