Title: HF Neutralization
Post by: LabRat_Syd on May 08, 2019, 12:24:44 PM
I need to neutralize approx. 9.5 liters of 2M HF. I have already tried using 200grams of calcium carbonate but after 7 days, still no luck! Ideally, we would like the process to be the least toxic method possible. Thanks!

How many moles in 9.5L of 2M HF? How many moles of CaCO3 would that react with? How many moles is 200g CaCO3?
