Title: How Would You Remove Sugar from Metamucil?
Post by: chasendeheaux on May 18, 2019, 07:13:01 PM
I have a practical question.

How would you remove the sugar and/or sucralose from Metamucil Orange using only what you can find in a kitchen? The goal would be to have just the psyllium left over in a form that is okay for humans to consume.

The stuff gels pretty rapidly in water, and I'm stumped.

I promise that this is not a homework or drug-related question. I am not aware of any drugs that can be made from the ingredients of Metamucil. Nursing homes are hedonistic enough as it is.

Find another dietary supplement containing psyllium but without this sweetener.
