Specific rotation for stereoisomers
« on: December 01, 2008, 09:24:54 AM »
I've been trying to solve this question, but I have no clue where to start from. Someone help me out please.

question... pure (s)-amphetamine has a specific rotation of +37.6 degree. If a mixture of (S) and (R) emphetamine has a specific rotation of -21.0 degree, Calculate the percentage of each enantiomer present in the mixture.
