equivalence point
« on: June 16, 2010, 12:00:00 AM »
A 25.0 mL sample of sulfuric acid, H2SO4, requires 42.1 mL of 0.1533 M NaOH for titration to the equivalence point. What is the concentration of the sulfuric acid?

H2SO4 + 2 NaOH --> Na2SO4  + 2 H2O\

 a. none of these
b. 0.129 M
c. 0.0456 M
d. 0.258 M
e. 0.517 M

How many moles of sodium hydroxide did you use up in your titration?

How many moles of sulfuric acid do these react with?

Are you really read this chapter from Borek link? The equation 4 gives solution of your problem.
