Buchwald-Hartwig amination
« on: November 30, 2011, 11:19:12 AM »
I'm looking to run a Buchwald-Hartwig amination but the lab I'm working in is out of Pd2(dba)3. Would using Pd(dba)2 instead work okay?

From what I understand it's just a source of palladium which complexes to a different ligand (DPPF in this case) before the catalytic cycle begins. Palladium is obviously very expensive so if I can avoid ordering more in that would be good.
