I need a few helpful pointers on these questions

I believe the first one produces a ring structure with two methyls coming off of it. And I am not sure about the rest - I am stuck

Please keep in mind that some of us have "more mature" eyes. Lighter photos about 30% larger than what you have will help us help you better.

With regards to question one, your starting material and product both contain one double bond equivalent. What's the logical first step when you protonate that starting material with H2SO4? For the rest, think of "looping a belt."
