Ligands and d orbitals
«

Hi,
Upon forming a complex ion, do the electrons of the ligand move into the orbitals of the central metal ion?
How many d electrons would [Fe(Cl)2(en)2]Cl have? And what would be the configuration of Fe in this complex ion?
Thanks in advance.
