Chemistry lab homework question
« on: October 11, 2006, 12:20:27 AM »
O.k I need to balance these chemical equations but I'm not sure if I did these correct.

Magnesium with molecular oxygen          Mg0  = Mg +2 and 0 -2

Magnesium with molecular nitride           MgN  = Mg +2 and N -2

Magnesium nitride with h2o                   MgN2 + H2o = H (MgNo3)2

Heating Magnesium hydroxide                Mg H2 = Mg +2 and H -2

Mg + O2 ----->

Mg + N2 ---->

Mg3N2 + H2O ---->

Mg(OH)2 + heat ------>

There is no science without fancy, and no art without facts.
