How would you prepare a 3.8% w/v solution of sodium bicarbonate? It has been over three years since I've had gen. chem. If someone could tell me how to start it, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You simply need to apply the definition of w/v% concentration. It means that you have to solve that weight in 100 ml of solvent...
