Lead nitrate - soluble?
«

Would lead nitrate - Pb(NO
3
)
2
- be soluble or insoluble?
I'm studying solubility rules, and my prof says Pb
+2
compounds are always insoluble, but he also says NO
3
-
is always soluble.
So, which one overrides which?

The "always soluble" rules generally trump the "always insoluble"
