Lead nitrate - soluble?
« on: September 29, 2009, 11:39:08 PM »
Would lead nitrate - Pb(NO3)2 - be soluble or insoluble?

I'm studying solubility rules, and my prof says Pb+2 compounds are always insoluble, but he also says NO3- is always soluble.
So, which one overrides which?

The "always soluble" rules generally trump the "always insoluble"
