Okay I think I have this right but I need to have it confirmed. The parent base of AlCl
3
is Al(H
2
0)
5
(OH)
+2
and the parent acid is HCl. Is that correct?

It looks like there might be more than one answer. the simplist I can see would be Al(OH)
3
and HCl.
