have a question about single displacement reactions with a ionic compound and a more reactive metal. will the resulting isolated metal be a solid or an aqueous ion?

for example: Mg (s) +Pb(NO3)2 (aq) -->Mg(NO3)2 (aq) +Pb (aq ion or s?)

Based on the activity series, the following rxn should happen, yes?

Answer depends on many factors. Technically Mg(s) should reduce Pb2+ producing Pb(s), but Pb is active enough to get dissolved just by water.
