Enthalpy Change Question
« on: October 25, 2019, 04:53:46 AM »
Hi, I unfortunately dozed off during the review of this question because I hadn't slept in awhile, but it is as follows...

If the temperature of 50 mL of 1.0 M HCl changes from 21.0 C to 27.5 C upon reacting with 50 mL of 1.0 NaOH, calculate the enthalpy change as kJ/mol of HCl (Total volume on mixing is 100 mL, density of water is 1 g/mL, and the specific heat of water is 4.18 J/g.K

Can someone please guide me through this problem? Thank you.
