Mix propylene glycol, HCl and HBr

Hello,

I have propylene glycol, hydrochloric and hydrobromic acids. Can I mix and distill this to form dichloropropane and dibromopropane? I do not know which substance will be produced, 1,2 or 1,3 isomers?

Synthesis recipes can be found online and in the chemical literature.
