Analgesic separation
« on: November 28, 2019, 12:39:36 PM »
Does anyone know how to separate an unknown mixture of analgesics (caffeine, ibuprofen, aspirin, acetaminophen) using column chromatography?

I’m not exactly sure. I have to come up with my own procedure to separate the mixture and I’m not exactly sure how to go about it

Are you supposed to use silica gel? What do you know about these compounds, are they
water soluble or soluble in ether?
