2F2 + O2 :rarrow: 2F2O

(1/1)

Fish200398:
2F2 + O2 :rarrow: 2F2O
For 1 mol F2 how many moles O2 needed and how many moles F2O produced?

Because i saw that
2H2 + O2  :rarrow: 2H2O
Which can written as 4H + 2O  :rarrow: 2H2O
For 1 mol H2 will need 0.5 mol O2 and produce 0.5 mol H2O

I thought 1 mol F2 will need 0.5 mol O and produce 0.5 mol F2O
4F + 2O  :rarrow:  2H2O

But it is true or not? Thanks in advanced

Why do you split diatomic molecules? It only complicates things.
