I need help with some questions on my Chemistry lab

1)Would Potassium ions be more soluble in water or Paraffin Oil? Why?

2)Would Iodine ions be more soluble in water or Paraffin Oil? Why?

3) Would Elemental Iodine be more soluble in water or Paraffin Oil? Why?

4)If water and Paraffin Oil were to be poured into the same vessel, will they be miscible? Why or why not?

What are your own ideas to this. Think about electrical charge of the mentioned atomes or molecules.
