Alkalinity

Could anybody please let me know how alkalinity impacts solution chemistry, and how the alkalinity titration curve is used to measure alkalinity?

You have to show your attempts at answering the question to receive help, this is a forum policy. This is a thing that is discusses in many textbooks, what does your say about?

Thank you for your response.
I found and edited the following titration curve plot used to measure alkalinity but am not entirely sure how it can be used. I mean the description of the plot in a way that contains the method of alkalinity measurement. Also, how I can use the curve to explain how alkalinity impacts solution chemistry.
