book recommendation

(1/1)

sciencelogic:
I guess it's the forum that I can ask such a question, if it's not sorry for the wrong choice.
What is your recommendation for learning about chemistry. I'm interested in chemistry and as i live in a village and i'm busy with farming, i don't have any access to somewhere relevant or a chemistry teacher. So I'm looking for a good book that i can learn about basic chemistry. If you can suggest the second or even the third book after it that would be even better. Just please make it simple, as i don't have any familiarity with chemistry, i can't decide myself and I'm looking for an expert advice.
if you're asking about the branches that I'm interested in? cause I'm a newbie, I don't know, maybe i decide about it after getting familiar with this science.

Thanks.

Borek:
There are some reasonably good open chemistry courses on the web.
