So I have the following question about it: About the first condensation, the author that the improvement was to carry the condensation procedure under nitrogen, does this mean that you add nitrogen and potassium fluoride or only nitrogen. What are your toughts on this ? thanks

Nitrogen is always bubbled through the reaction mixture. Maybe some side product is removed this way.
