Aspen Help

(1/1)

aa112313:
I needed some help with warnings/errors identification and troubleshooting on Aspen.
Would anyone kindly be able to explain what these messages mean and what the reason behind it is and how to resolve it?
1) Warning
Convergence Block                    $OLVER11 not converged in 200 iterations
2) *Warning
Zero feed to the block B1. Block bypassed
3) Heat exchanger ERROR
cold stream is hotter than “hot” stream-Block bypassed
4) ***severe error
Flash calculations has driven the temperature down to the lower limit of 112.2226 Degrees K. But enthalpy balance is still not satisfied. Heat duty specifications may be infeasible. Errors occurred in flash calculations for tear stream S2.
5) *** severe error in the “block” paragraph which begins on line 54
Block name:b1  model name:rstoic
Number of outlet material streams (0)
Supplied for this block is out of range.
Valid range:minimum=1, maximum=2.
Processing for this block will not continue.
Thank you so much

i think it is the problem of the reactor and there may be no flow coming out of the reactor. Also, specify the temperature and pressure of the flash/heat exchanger correctly. Check the type of utility if you are using the utility.
