FeI3 or BeCl2

FeI3 + 3H2O --> Fe(OH)3 + 3HI
Weak Base (Group 3+ metal), Strong Acid (hydroiodic acid)

BeCl2 + 2H2O --> Be(OH)2 + 2HCl
Strong Base (Group 1/2 metal), Strong Acid (hydrochloric acid)

Therefore, FeI3 would act like an acid.

Please let me know what I've done wrong.
