img tags in fprum posts

Pretty much as it says in the subject, I was wondering how the img tags work in a forum post? Do I insert the local address of the image as stored on my computer, or something else?

Borek:
Either attach image to the post (Additional options... below the edit field) or use external hosting service and put image url in the tags.
