How to extract and purify hydragin from hydrangeas?
« on: July 15, 2020, 01:05:08 AM »
I want to obtain a sample of hydragin a glycoside amygdalin contained in the flowers and leaves of hydrangeas. To make a necklace with a small vial of it as its my favorite flower or contain it in a resin hydrangea.

what process and solvent should i use?

Hydragin is not a specific chemical compound - it is a mixture of very toxic cyanogenic glycosides. It would be useful to read the rules of the Forum.
