Say I had tartaric acid... there is a meso and R,R and S,S isomers. The meso isomer has a melting point of 146-148 compared to the R,R and S,S isomers have a MP of 171-174. What happens to the melting point if I have a mixture of the meso, R,R and S,S isomers?

The meso (anhydrous) has a melting point  of 165–166°C. You forgot about racemate with melting point 206°C.
