Creating an Acid (game procedure)
« on: August 31, 2020, 12:29:10 PM »
I am adding some chemistry recipes to a minecraft mod and would like to make them as realistic as possible. As of right now i make acid by simply combining H and Cl (or other ion), but i would like to improve this to emphasize that H is H+ and Cl is Cl-, so may end up creating a mechanism to make H+ and Cl- and then combine the two to make HCl. Now, in real world i remember bubbling CL through H2O and getting HCl in H2O. Sooo, my question is this: is my H+ A- 3 step process sufficient to be accurate or will it lead to misunderstandings hence i should create a unique chain of steps for production of each acid?
