Law of Multiple Proportions Problem
« on: September 27, 2020, 05:13:48 PM »
I know this doesn't sound possible, but how do I draw half an atom? In the problem, I divided 1.750g by 0.8750g, which gave me 2. This tells me that there are 2 g of Nitrogens, so I drew 2 atoms of Nitrogen to 1 Oxygen. Then I divided 0.4375 by 0.8750 and got 1/2. How can I show that I have half a gram of Nitrogen in a particle diagram?
